Liste über ODB II Fault Codes/ Fehlercodes Jaguar ab 1997
Im Folgenden finden Sie eine Liste über ODB II Fault Codes/ Fehlercodes und eine kurze Beschreibung für. OBD und OBDII Codes können in der Regel über einen Stecker im Fahrgastraum unter dem Lenkrad auf einem PC oder einem speziellen Handheld ausgelesen werden. Weiters wird OBD genutzt um fast alle Motorparameter auszulesen aber auch Informationen über Aggregate oder Chassis.
Zurücksetzen des Fehlerspeichers beim XK8 XKR (X100)
Falls man kein OBD II fähiges Gerät hat um den Fehlerspeicher zurückzusetzen, kann man das auch folgendermassen tun: Entfernen des Massekabels von der Batterie (-), das ist das geflochtene Kabel das am Chassis anliegt. Das Massekabel an das Pluskabel führen und mindestens für 20 Sekunden kurzschließen.
ACHTUNG: Keinesfalls die Batterie kurzschließen!
Das kann fatale Folgen haben, auch für Ihre Gesundheit. Verbrennungsgefahr, Verätzungsgefahr.
Airbag-Fehler XK8
Wenn die Airbag-Kontrolllampe leuchtet: Beim Start blinkt die Warnleuchte zehn Sekunden lang und dann bleibt sie an. Achtung – die Lampe geht an, dann aus und nun zählen Sie wie oft sie blinkt. Die Airbag-Warnlampe redet mit Ihnen! Sie „zwinkert“ Ihnen einen zweisteligen code zu. Zuerst zweimal mit einer Pause und dann z.B. einmal. Das bedeutet so 2-1 also 21. Nach diesem Muster gibt es folgende Fehlercodes:

System der OBD II-Fehlercodes
Die Übersicht zeigt allgemeine und Jaguar spezifische Fehlercodes und deren Bedeutung:

Der erste Buchstabe identifiziert die Bauteilgruppe welchen den Fehler erzeugt:
# P = Powertrain – Antrieb
# B = Body – Karosserie (Anbauteile)
# C = Chassis
# U = Undefiniert
Die zweite Stelle gibt Auskunft of der Code generisch – also gleich auf allen OBD-II Systemen oder herstellerspezifisch ist:
# 0 = Generisch
# 1 = Hersteller
Die dritte Stelle ist ein Sub-Indikator für die zweite Stelle:
# 1 = Gemischaufbereitung/ Emmissions-Management (Treibstoff oder Luft)
# 2 = Einspritzsystem
# 3 = Zündung oder Fehlzündung
# 4 = Emissionskontrolle
# 5 = Geschwindigkeits- Lehrlaufmanagement
# 6 = Computer & Output-Kreis
# 7 = Getriebe
# 8 = Getriebe
# 9 = Reserviert
# 0 = Reserviert
Beispiel:
Z.B.: P1125 sagt uns es betrifft den Antriebsstrang (P), ist Jaguar spezifisch (P1) und betrifft die Gemischaufbereitung/ Emmissions-Management (P11) Der Rest des Codes ist dem Fehler „Throttle position sensor intermittent“ gewidmet.

Hinweis: Einfaches Auslesen von Codes erleichtert die Diagnose bei Fehlern, ersetzt aber eine ordentliche Diagnose nicht. Teile einfach nur auf Verdacht hin zu tauschen ist kostspielig. Oft provozieren fehlerhafte Teile Fehler wo man sie nicht vermutet. So kann zb. eine fehlerhafte Lamdasonde den Eindruck erwecken, dass mit der Zündung etwas nicht stimmt.
Auslesen mit allgemeinen OBD-Geräten: Oft stimmt die Interpretation den Fehlers nicht, da das Gerät die Jagar-spezifischen OBD-Codes nicht geladen hat. Notieren Sie nur den Fehler-Code und finden Sie heraus was der für Ihr Fahrzeug bedeutet.
